Tiffani Sierra

Founder- C.I.O (Chief Inspirational Officer) & Master Facilitator

Tiffani Sierra is an Actress, Inspirational Speaker, Master Facilitator, and alumni of the famous Improv School, The Second City in Hollywood, CA. Her acting training hails from the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and A.C.T in San Francisco. As an arts educator, her training comes from the UCLA Arts and Healing Program. She is a certified Social Emotional Arts Facilitator.

With over 19 years of experience working in schools and organizations, Tiffani shifted her focus from performing in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, to transforming lives through developing programs using the art of improvisation. Her innovative workshops were featured with her work with several highly accredited arts organizations throughout California working in underserved areas as well as inside Juvenile Halls.

In 2016 she founded Improv It Up and has been using Improvisation to help students, organizations and corporations experience greater creativity, teamwork, personal growth and transformation to improve working relationships, boost morale, and performance skills.

Adrian Figueroa

Chief Improvement Officer & Master Facilitator

Adrian is a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Business with over 20 years of continuous improvement experience in manufacturing, distribution, performing arts, music, sports, and education to develop curriculum, facilitate workshops, coach, mentor, and train teams and individuals to unlock their potential professionally and personally, while supporting Improv It Up’s mission and vision strategic plans using the principals of improv.

My focus is to create programs and workshops for corporate business and personal development needs that combine Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma methodologies with the rules of improv and facilitate experiential workshops for performance improvements in productivity, innovation, sales, leadership, and team building.

Joaquin Garay III

Facilitator

Joaquin Garay III, got his start at the ripe ol’ age of 4. From gulping down Happy Meals for McDonalds to following his father’s legacy at Disney as a star of Disney’s Herbie Goes Bananas (1980), he’s done it all. He’s appeared in over 100 commercials throughout his career! The comedy bug bit him some years back and since then he has made his mark performing Improv all over Southern California. Joaquin has written and performed many sketch comedy shows, starred in numerous theatre productions, and has recently added the title “Teacher” to his resume. Anthony Solorzano

Facilitator

Anthony Solorzano was born and raised in Pomona, California. Since he was a kid, he loved telling jokes. When he got to college, he realized he could study the art of performing and earned a Bachelors in Theater from Cal Poly Pomona. During his last year of his program, he decided he didn't want to serve tables & make his own luck by forming Room 110 Productions with his friend Kiersten Tanopo. Since then, he's been producing, writing, his productions all around the city. He even earned a Masters in Creative Writing from Mount Saint Mary's University.

Amanda Sevold Herrera

Facilitator 

Amanda Sevold Herrera received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Cal State Fullerton in 2008. Since then, she has been coaching and teaching students, both in the public and private sector as a theatre teacher and as a vocal coach. Her main area of expertise is musical theatre, as she spent several years coaching high school students for theatre competitions in the musical theatre category, as well as having acted in musicals since she was 10 years old. Empowering students to realize their full potential and overcome their struggles is one of her greatest passions in life and she hopes to continue to aid others for many years to come.

Kathryn Johnson Schwartz

Facilitator

Kathryn Johnson Schwartz is an actress, playwright, director and arts educator whose professional theatre credits include acting, directing and teaching for South Coast Repertory Theatre; founding and administering The Pasadena Playhouse Young Actors School and writing and directing original children's musicals for Hollywood/Los Feliz Jewish Community Center and others.  She was Director of the Los Angeles office and produced and directed student plays for Playwrights Project. She performed with Grove Shakespeare Festival, the Odyssey Theatre and at numerous Southern California venues, directed and performed with the B.U.M.P.S. Theatre Ensemble in Burbank, We Tell Stories, LA Arts Group and has also produced several online Zoom play readings. She is a Master Teaching Artist for the Los Angeles Music Center and has worked for two seasons with Improv It Up. She earned a B.A. in Theatre from University of California, Santa Barbara, and pursued graduate studies in directing and children's theatre at California State University at Fullerton.
